Procedure
Breast uplift surgery takes approximately 2.5 hours and will be arranged for a convenient date and time, to ensure a healthy recovery time following the surgical procedure. Patients will not be required to stay in the hospital overnight, but most patients choose to take some time away from usual daily activities to aid recovery.
The operation will take place under general anaesthetic. The breasts will be reshaped by lifting the breast higher within the chest wall and removing any excess and unnecessary breast tissue. The remaining breast tissue will be tightened and supported by breast implants to reinforce the breast uplift.
If required, the nipple and areola can be repositioned to enhance the breast uplift. Depending on your body shape and personal preference, a donut lift, lollipop lift or anchor lift will be performed during breast surgery.
