It is estimated that as many as 60% of men will experience enlarged breast tissue at some time in their lives. Medically known as gynaecomastia, those who experience larger male breasts can understandably feel embarrassed and self-conscious about the condition.
It can be the result of a build-up of fatty tissue in the chest or an over-development of glandular breast tissue, stretching the skin, but it is often a combination of both.
