As an experienced surgeon with an understanding of facial anatomy, Maisam Fazel carefully plans the cheek enhancement procedure, assessing the face as a whole. The dermal fillers he uses contain a local anaesthetic which makes the procedure pain-free, but a local anaesthetic cream can be applied to the cheeks 20 minutes before treatment to numb the area.
